How attractive am I, really?
More than you fear and less than your mirror says, for most men. Looks do matter: across 11 meta-analyses, people agree strongly about who is attractive and treat attractive people more positively. But a large part of what people read as “looks” is presentation, and that part is in your hands.
That’s why this quiz doesn’t rate your face. It scores ten things that change how your face is read, so your result comes with fixes instead of a number you can’t do anything about.

Why can't you judge your own looks?
Because your brain flatters you. In a series of experiments, people were more likely to pick an attractively enhanced photo of their own face as the real one. You’re not uniquely vain; everyone does it.
So use evidence instead of the mirror: a recent photo in daylight, taken by someone else, unfiltered. That’s roughly what a stranger sees.
Which changes make the biggest difference?
Smile and posture first, because they’re free and instant.
- Smile. In experiments with morphed faces, a happy expression could even make up for relative unattractiveness.
- Posture. In speed-dating and a dating-app experiment with 3,000 people, open, expansive posture was the strongest predictor of being chosen.
- Fit and grooming. A haircut and clothes that fit your shoulders change your silhouette more than any new outfit.
- Fitness. Women rated moderately muscular men as most attractive, not the biggest. Two sessions a week is plenty.

Does your face matter at all?
Yes, especially at first sight. A meta-analysis of real attraction found that physical attractiveness predicted romantic interest for both sexes. But first impressions are built in a glance, and a smile, good light and an open posture are part of that glance.

What should you do with your score?
Fix your two lowest answers this week, then retake the quiz in a month. Looks are only half the picture; the attraction scorecard covers kindness, humor and the traits research says women value most. If your dating photos are the weak spot, run the match diagnosis next.
Questions men ask
Can a quiz tell me how attractive I am?
No quiz can rate your face fairly, and the face-rating apps are a coin toss with good marketing. What a quiz can do is score the presentation that changes how your face is read: smile, posture, grooming, fit, fitness and photos.
Am I attractive or do I just think I am?
Most people see themselves as a little better-looking than they are. The fix isn’t to worry; it’s to check with things you can measure, like how you look in a recent, unfiltered photo taken by someone else.
What makes a man more attractive fast?
A proper haircut, clothes that fit, a real smile and an open posture. Each one can change how you come across within a week.
Do women care about muscles?
Some fitness helps, but research finds moderate muscularity rated most attractive, not the biggest physique. Training also helps posture, energy and mood, which show in person.
