Start with what you can answer best. If you have a great story, pick a story prompt. If you’re funny in a dry way, pick a debate or a theory. Then make sure at least one prompt points toward a date. “Together, we could” and “First round is on me if” do this naturally.
Avoid the perfect version of yourself. In an experiment with 316 online daters, highly idealized profiles were seen as less socially attractive and got fewer intentions to make contact, while details people could verify built trust.
What makes a prompt easy to reply to?
A specific detail or an open loop. “Two truths and a lie” works because she can guess. “Typical Sunday” works when it paints a picture she can step into.
